MOiNOnTour: Walk to Marienthal

Participation only possible with a camp ticket.

The camp is beautiful (presumably) and there is certainly a lot to discover on the campsite. But it's also nice to take a look around and explore the area you have traveled to. And the Havelland in Brandenburg is an extraordinary cultural landscape that is worth exploring. And you can do that excellently on foot from Ziegeleipark: So let's take a walk.

North of Ziegeleipark is a small village, technically a district of Zehdenick, called Marienthal. There's not really anything particularly special there, but it's a good walking distance from Ziegeleipark. The path leads through the Uckermark Lakes Nature Park along the Havel River, past locks and a historic canal into the village, and then back between artificial lakes from the time of brick production.

It probably takes at least an hour to walk in a group to Marienthal. There's a convenience store and a restaurant there. We'll take a short break there, so walkers can rest, and with some luck, have something to eat or drink (but it's better to bring something just in case) and/or explore the place with its protected historical village church. The return journey will be decided dynamically at a later time and is slightly shorter.

Don't forget mosquito repellent and sunscreen.

The walk will be canceled in case of rain. If you have purchased a ticket, you will also receive an email. But "tickets" are, of course, not mandatory or anything.
